“Besides,” she went on, after a short pause, “it won’t confuse the staff when I take the kids to school.”

  The quiet statement rocked Sean to the core. Children. Kate wanted babies—his babies. Children were something that happened to other people…he’d never even thought about them being a part of his own life. “You want children, a rúnsearc?”
